Terms of Service

Thunderstruck is a Discord bot and dashboard for moderation, security, logging, community tools and server discovery. These terms cover use of the bot, the website and the dashboard.

Using Thunderstruck

You need a Discord account to use Thunderstruck. Discord's own terms and community guidelines also apply, because the bot runs inside Discord and the dashboard signs you in with Discord.

Adding the bot to a server needs permission from someone who can manage that server. That person is responsible for how the bot is configured there, including moderation actions, logged channels, tickets, applications, giveaways and public listings.

The dashboard

Logging in lets you manage servers where your Discord account can manage the server, or where that server added you or one of your roles as a bot master, and the bot is present. Keep your Discord account secure. A session lasts up to seven days, and logging out ends it on this site.

Settings you save are applied to that server. You are responsible for the channels, roles, messages and rules you set up.

Public pages

Server listings, public profiles and public templates are visible to anyone who opens those pages. Publish only information you are willing to share. You can make a profile private, unlist a server, or keep a template private from the dashboard.

Acceptable use

Use Thunderstruck in line with the guidelines. You may not use the bot or dashboard to harass people, run scams, raid servers, evade Discord enforcement, or interfere with the service.

Access can be limited or removed when use breaks these terms, the guidelines, or Discord's rules.

Premium

Premium and Custom bot are billed separately from the free bot, and separately from each other. Premium is $5 per month for one server: that server gets a Premium badge on server discovery, is listed ahead of other servers, can use a highlight color, and can be bumped every 30 minutes. Custom bot is $10 per month for a Discord bot you create and connect to Thunderstruck, with the name, picture, banner and status you choose, on one server.

You create the Discord application and provide its bot token. You are responsible for that application, including its intents and who can invite it. The token is stored so the bot can stay online. You can disconnect it at any time. Canceling stops the renewal and the bot stays online until the month you already paid for ends.

Availability

Thunderstruck is provided as available. Features, commands and stored configuration can change, and the bot or website can be interrupted for maintenance or outages. Server admins should keep their own record of anything they cannot afford to lose.

Changes

These terms can be updated. The date at the top of this page changes when they do. Continuing to use the bot or dashboard after an update means you accept the current terms.
