Auto Slowmode

Slow a channel down when messages arrive in a burst, then turn slowmode off once it is quiet.

How to set it up

  1. Turn Auto Slowmode on, add a channel, and choose the burst that turns it on. 8 messages within 5 seconds is a busy burst. Slowmode can be from 1 second up to 6 hours, which is Discord's limit.
  2. It stays on for the keep time after a burst. A new burst starts the wait over. When the wait ends, the channel goes back to the slowmode it had before. If someone changed slowmode while it was on, that change is left as it is.
  3. Turn on Ignore bots to skip bots and webhooks. Exempt roles are not counted. A log channel is told when slowmode turns on and off. The bot needs View Channel and Manage Channels in each channel. Threads are not watched.

Open a server from the dashboard, then open Auto Slowmode. Changes apply as soon as you save. Commands for this module can be turned off from that same page.
