Suggestions

Members submit ideas in a channel. Others vote with buttons, and staff accept or deny them.

How to set it up

  1. Turn Suggestions on, pick the channel where ideas are posted, and save. A panel channel is optional. Choose a button or a select menu. Saving posts it there.
  2. Members use /suggestions submit, or the button or menu on the panel. With review off, the suggestion is posted in the suggestions channel with upvote and downvote only. There is no Accept or Deny. Turn on Review suggestions and pick a review channel if staff should check an idea first. Accept sends it to the suggestions channel so people can vote. Deny keeps it out. /suggestions view shows one suggestion. Blacklist roles that should not send suggestions.
  3. While review is on, staff accept or deny from the buttons, from this page, or with /suggestions accept and /suggestions deny. Accepting or denying it in the suggestions channel turns the vote buttons off. Manage Messages, Manage Server and the staff roles you pick can decide. Authors can delete their own with /suggestions delete. Turn on anonymous to hide the name in Discord. They still show on this page.

Open a server from the dashboard, then open Suggestions. Changes apply as soon as you save. Commands for this module can be turned off from that same page.
